Phew! Another fantastic day, needless to say I’ve now got 2 very tired little ones fast asleep πŸ˜€
We started off the day with a bus ride into town, obviously most of the journey was spent distracting Aiden from pressing the red stop button πŸ™‚ We needed to go into town to pick up Paige’s reading glasses, but it seemed like too good an opportunity to waste, so we had a grand adventure.
I’d drafted in some help in the shape of some lovely new friends, we went to the Nottingham Contemporary Gallery and joined in with their activities for the day, which allowed Paige to create a “spirit” out of paper, coat hangers, material and foil πŸ˜‰ We were all having such a good time that some of the other children came over and joined us hehehe. Eventually after a quick trip to cafe, we skipped through town to get Paige’s glasses, and if course she was very excited about getting them (even though they are only needed for reading).
We got home late in the afternoon and managed a quick snooze before heading off to a local fireworks display. I made sure we were all wrapped up against the cold, and I treated Paige and Aiden to some glow sticks when we got there. They both enjoyed the display, and this had led to them being tired out and fast asleep in bed πŸ˜‰
Right time for a few pictures of the days fun………(including Paige showing her Nanny her glasses via a telephone call hehehe).
