Well I spent last night and this morning in some very pleasant company πŸ™‚ But of course I to make my farewells so that I could return home ready for the little ones.
Aiden had quite a mixed day at school, but that didn’t really surprise me. He got better as the school day progressed, this is something Id predicted would happen today. The reason being is that it was no. Uniform day for Children in Need. Now to us this doesn’t seem like an issue, however once you understanding the implications of it as a change to established routine, it becomes a massive issue πŸ™‚ A key part of Aiden’s school routine is putting his school uniform on, he knows that a familiar day is going to happen, and knows exactly what to expect. Take that away and as far he’s concerned the whole world has descended into anarchy – as always it’s the little things that surprise us πŸ˜‰
Once both the little ones had been rounded up from school we headed south (Nanny had popped up to give us a lift hehehe), so a quick journey down country brought 2 very sleepy children to see Grandad πŸ™‚
I managed to grab a quick picture, Aiden had decided this evening that his Finn McMissile poster needed to be out up on living room wall. After finding a suitable place for it, he held the poster there and turned to Grandad to ask for a hammer πŸ™‚
Please note that no walls were harmed during the making if this picture…….
