It may now be the start of another Long Lonely Stint, but we adventured the hell out of today πŸ™‚
We were joined on our morning long adventure of the fields and woods by Charlie and Mollie, the little one’s cousins. The adventure started with ball games and feather collecting (Aiden was insistent on gathering the feathers around the field). Once we’d exhausted ourselves throwing, kicking, punching, catching and heading various fun sized spheres we decided to head off to the wood to get some climbing done. At this point Aiden decided to opt out, and asked if he could go back to the hose with his Nanny, and of course she kindly obliged πŸ™‚
Off out group trekked and we soon found a suitable tree (that had blown over) to serve as a climbing frame, in fact the tree has featured in pictures before, it’s something of a landmark on our walks πŸ™‚
All of the young ones successfully and safely negotiated the climbing course, and decided to take sticks as momento’s of their conquest. We then wet off on a long walk through the countryside, and encountered Red Kites, Yellow Hammers and many grass hoppers. The kids absolutely enjoyed themselves, although they started to flag towards the end, but we were able to transport them safely home.
I’ll post a load of pictures of the day πŸ˜€
