We started off slow today, it took all morning to convince Aiden to eat his breakfast, in fact by the time he had finished it, it was lunch time.
I had planned in going to the woods for an adventure today, but with breakfast finally out of the way, half of the day had gone.
Still I didn’t let a thing like that bother us, so I made sure we were all fuelled up with lunch, and off we went.
Due to the sheer epic-ness of today’s adventure, it’s going to be a picture heavy post today 🙂
We followed a new route through the woods today, and discovered a whole new area which required exploring, we walked through fields of cows (& very young calves), and skirted a marsh. We also found a lovely house tucked away in the middle of nowhere – in fact I’m not even sure how they drive to the house, but there where plenty of cars parked in its grounds, so there must be access somewhere off the main road 🙂
Finally as we were on the home stretch we discovered lots of apple trees, so we partook of a little scrumping, if I had remembered to take a bag with us, we would also have stocked up on blackberries.
Tomorrow is going to be hectic as Paige is at a birthday party right in the middle of the day, and it’s going to be at least an hours walk to get there (it’s just past the school). Therefore I do t know if we will be able to go blackberry raiding tomorrow.
Incidentally Aiden managed to walk a good 90% of Yoda’s epic route 😉
