A very lovely and busy day yesterday, the little ones came to me in the morning, and shortly after that Nanny & Grandad surprised them. This meant we headed slightly south for the weekend πŸ™‚
As I don’t have a garden (boo!) I managed to persuade the Grandparents to give Aiden’s growing Sunflower a suitable and permanent home. So once we got here there was big replanting ceremony πŸ™‚
I was able to head out at night, with the little ones safely looking after Grandparents, so a few of us went out for a meal, a conflab and a game of Cthulhu Gloom πŸ™‚
The meal was surprisingly amusing as we managed to coerce our lovely waitress into providing us with an impromptu display of her ballet dancing skills, we gave her suitably decent tip πŸ˜‰
Unfortunately Cthulhu Gloom wasn’t quite as much fun. To be honest it’s the sort of game where you all need to be switched on to it, and we had to much other stuff going on. It was our 1st ever play through, so we were learning as we went, in the end before managing a complete round we decided to call it a day. It is a great game, and I’m looking forward to playing it, but you need to be able to devote the time to it, and we were having fun doing other things last night πŸ˜‰
