Yay! There’s noise in the hovel again, which can only mean one thing, I’m having a party and playing constant loud music……….. Oh no hang on, that’s not it, I’ve converted one of the rooms into a 24/7 blacksmithery dealing in modern plate armour for the discerning gentleman……… Nope that’s not it either, oh yeah – The little ones are here πŸ˜‰
We had a quick excursion to the shops this morning and we made sure we had plenty of chuckles on the walk there and back. However this afternoon we had a birthday party to attend to.
Paige’s friend that lives just round the corner had invited all 3 of us to come along I her small party. The party took place in a great little err place where the kids get to choose a craft activity to do. They all opted to paint things (pottery items in the main), and loads of fun was had by all. There was mess and creativity and big smiles at the end of it. The craft place is called Avago Crafts and is part shop, part art studio, part crafty mecca/workshop, it was great, a brilliant place to take kids for a few hours. The staff are awesome, and really inspire the kids πŸ™‚
Unfortunately just as we’ve discovered a great place to go, it decides to shut down, rather sadly due to rising rent costs, this great place closes down at the end of the month – boo!
However they are going to continue in a mobile capacity at events and parties.
I’ll try and post some pictures up – it all depends how well they came out πŸ™‚
