Well today was hospital day, and in typical fashion with hospitals and doctors they were running very late (an hour late), this meant a lot of tedium whilst sat in the waiting room. Although to be honest I struggled to stay awake being so exhausted :-/

My appointment was originally one of the last of the day, and it turned out to be the last of the day, with the hospital pretty much closed down and deserted when I was finished. The specialist made pages of notes, and it turns out they get a little worried if you mention that you’ve been passing blood for a significant portion of the week. His advice was that if the blood loss continues to go to Accident & Emergency?!?

Anyway the upshot is that I’ve to have more blood tests and investigations and I’m definitely getting a colonoscopy in the very near future – or as I like to thing of it a movie made of my bum 😉

So it’s back to the medical professionals tomorrow for a load more tests as we start properly down the path of finding out why my body hates me, the journey has started once again :-/

Whilst stuck in the waiting room of the Gastroenterology Department I did read a patient notice which said “if you are suffering from vomiting or diarrhea, please do not attend your appointment until 3 days after your last bout” – this amused me, as the whole point of me being there was constant diarrhea 🙂

Finally we had a good walk to school with the little ones, and I managed to take a picture of something wondrous. It turns out Aiden had a talent, he can curl his tongue as then turn it on its side (not something I’m able to do). He did show me this the other week, but I forgot all about it, he was showing it off as we got ready to leave for school, so I took some badly focused pictures 🙂
