We all had a great day yesterday, now whilst Paige did suffer the early morning effects of all our adventuring – she stayed in bed until about 09-30, Aiden was up at 07-00 as per usual 🙂
We off for a small scale adventure, quickly into the woods, to add bird seed to the amazing rustic bird table that’s there, and obviously a short pause to watch the birds getting fat. Although Aiden did insist on tuning up to the table to get a better look at them 😉
We then had a brief jaunt through the woods, before attacking a massive grassy hill filled with cows. The little ones did plenty of running around which was awesome. After we’d conquered the hill and made it back to civilisation we headed to the big park to play frisbee and generally lark about. Please note that this episode of larking about seemed to involve me being a large sea monster chasing the little and attacking their “boat” hehehe.
Not surprisingly everyone soon started to flag a bit, so we had a very slow trudge back to the hovel, and then chilled out with films and Skylanders 😉
We have a surprise guest in the pictures, which enabled me to feature in a picture for a rare change 🙂 Em my artist friend was with us for the day, and this also allowed Paige to get very excited about plaiting hair 😀
