The last lonely day has all but slipped into historic insignificance now, not long until cuddle and chuckle time 😀
I began my working day with and early morning stroll to begin the bus journey.
Work was nicely busy, with some different tasks requiring attention today, namely helping to put together a presentation. Now I’m pretty confident that at least 1 regular reader has adopted a wry smile at the prospect of people that may not know me that well, asking me to help with a presentation. Well Pan can rest assured that I haven’t lost my touch, and I managed to introduce some evolutionary concepts to ensure a memorable presentation 😉
Many years ago I was required to regularly do presentations on very dull statistics, however nobody forgot my presentations, as I broke most if the rules of “how to do a good presentation” that we’re being taught at the time. I always ensured that there was plenty of humour, and unbeknownst to me (as I hadn’t read up on psychological techniques at that time), I was ensuring that I engaged as many if the audience’s senses as possible. This is the key to creating a memorable presentation – I got back into the swing of it again today 😉
Right I’m off now, as it’ll be an exciting and early start for me tomorrow as I set off to be home in time for the little ones, who happen to be lucky enough to be spending all day with me due to half term 😀
